I ordered my sign yesterday and it hasn’t shipped yet!! What’s the deal with this 48 hour turnaround time??
OK, so here’s the deal with our shipping timeframes:
* Our promise is that we will do everything humanly possible to cut & ship your sign within two (2) business days IF:
1) you ordered an unfinished sign
2) you provided all the info we need (name, font, size, dots connected, words connect, etc) when you order
3) you don’t require a proof before we cut
4) our order volumes aren’t crazy (i.e. you order on the Fri before a 3 day holiday weekend, your order may not ship Tue)
If we need to collect some info from you, the order isn’t 100% clear or if you need a proof then our time to deliver starts the moment we get your approval not from when you placed your order. Most folks think that’s a fair compromise & that’s how we’re rolling for now!
Hey Travis! I know it’s Wednesday and I need my sign by Friday. Is there anyway you can rush my sign?
We know folks need their signs for last minute occasions & we will do our absolute best to meet your deadline. Most importantly you need to communicate your drop dead date. We aren’t mind readers!!
A “rush” order is any sign that we need to cut the same day the order is placed. If you pay the Rush order fee will cut & package your sign the same day. It will be with our shipper either that day or first thing the next morning (see our Business Day blurb).
We can only guarantee our part. We have no control over USPS, UPS or FedEx. If your sign doesn’t make it in time for the party, we are VERY sorry but there is nothing we can do. We will NOT issue refunds for rush order signs that don’t arrive in time through no fault of our own.
Are you working bankers hours or something?!?! What’s this about a “business day”??
So we try REALLY hard to have a life outside our eCom stores and we try to work just Monday-Friday so we can spend time with our son and enjoy life in the Florida Panhandle. For our sanity we have to follow the schedule of the rest of the US (our suppliers, shippers, etc) follows.
Business days are:

Non-business days are:
* US Federal Holidays
* Days of work missed because of “Acts of God”. Hurricanes come through here. If we have to leave because of a hurricane (or some other reason) we will do so. We know your sign is important but it’s not that important.
Our business days start at 9AM CT. If your order is received AFTER 9AM your timeline starts the NEXT business day.
I ordered a painted sign on Monday – it’s Tuesday night and it hasn’t shipped. What gives and can I get my money back?
Painted signs take an extra 2-4 days for us to complete. Unfortuntately, we haven’t figured out how to speed up the laws of physics and paint signs in just 2 hours. Paint takes time to dry, signs need to be sanded, it’s just the way it is.
All our listings state that painted signs take an additional 72 hours to complete. The vast majority of the time it will only take us 2 extra days. Sometimes, it takes 4 day. The weather effects how fast paint dries (again, we figure out how to change this we will) but if it rains every day while we are painting your sign it’s going to take 4 days. Again, we’re sorry but there is nothing we can do to speed this up. As my father is fond of saying – “It is, what it is!”
My sign arrived damaged – I need you to ship a new sign by tomorrow!!
Unfortunately, packages get damaged during delivery. We ship 100+ packages a week and 1 or 2 each week will get damaged. I hate to say it but it’s just kind of part of the deal when you order stuff that has to be shipped.
For damaged signs, we will be more than happy to recut and ship a new sign for you. Free of charge. However, we will only ship your sign with the same shipping timeline you paid for originally. I realize you need your sign by tomorrow but we cannot be financially liable for damage done by our shippers. If you would like us to overnight you a replacement sign we will be happy to do so but you will need to pay the difference between the overnight charge and your original shipping charge.
This sign sucks Travis! I assumed the sign would look different than how it looks now that I have it. Can you cut me a new sign?
Sure, I would be happy to make you a new sign. But I’m not going to do it for free. I would be more than glad to cut you a replacement sign for a 50% re-cutting fee (minimum of $19.00) plus the cost of shipping.

You may request a proof with your order to show you exactly how your sign will look with dimensions, font etc. We are sorry that your sign is a little smaller/bigger/whatever than you expected but I cannot cut 2 or 3 signs for every order.
We are more than happy to work with you and we WILL get you a sign that you are thrilled with but you have to work with us to make that happen.
Who painted this sign?? I was expecting a professionally painted sign when I ordered it!
If you are expecting a flawless, professionally painted, artistic level painted sign we’d suggest you order your cutout unfinished and either paint it yourself or pay someone else to cut your sign. We do provide a painting service for customers that don’t have the ability to paint their own signs but we will never claim to be professional painters. We will do an EXCELLENT job painting your sign and won’t ship a sign that we would not put on our wall but if you are expecting a perfectly flawless finish for $30 you probably should find another painter.
I can promise you that your sign will look great hanging on the wall if we paint it and we’ll do it quickly and for a fair price!
“Your product just went on sale…can you honor the sale price for a sign I purchased last week/month?”
The short answer is no.
The long answer is we are always adjusting our prices based on demand/capacity, raw material costs, competition and trends in the marketplace. Because we purchase our materials at commodity level rates, our cost to produce signs fluctuate and to stay in business we have to reflect those changes in our retail prices. And because of this we cannot honor retroactive refund requests if you may have paid more a few prior for your order.
“Hi Travis! My event is tomorrow and I’m sorry I didn’t see your message last week. I’d like to cancel my order and get a refund.”
For orders that we have not started on (i.e. – we haven’t sent you a proof or we haven’t cut your sign) we will gladly offer you a 100% refund for your order.
If we have started on your order but not cut your sign (i.e. – delivered you a proof) we will gladly process a refund for you at 80% of your sign purchase price. The 20% “restocking” fee will be kept for work completed in designing your sign. All shipping and finishing fees will be 100% refunded.
If we have cut your order (but not shipped it) and you would like to cancel, you will be entitled to a refund of your shipping fees only. If you purchased a finish service (paint, stain, etc) and we have not started finishing we will refund those charges as well.
